Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, making a reservation, or staying at a Paradise Escape accommodation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any property-specific rules, booking conditions, rental agreements, and policies presented during the reservation process.

If there is a conflict between these general website terms and specific terms presented and accepted as part of a reservation, the reservation-specific terms will apply to that booking.

Reservations & Booking

Reservations are subject to availability and are not considered confirmed until the booking requirements shown during the reservation process have been completed and confirmation has been issued.

A reservation is only confirmed after all required booking steps have been completed and any required payment or deposit has been successfully processed.

Guests are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when making a reservation, including contact information, guest counts, dates, and any other information requested as part of the booking.

The person making the reservation is responsible for reviewing the details of the booking and ensuring that all members of the group comply with the applicable property rules and booking terms.

Rates, Fees & Payments

Rates may vary by accommodation, travel dates, occupancy, length of stay, season, demand, promotions, and selected booking options. The pricing presented through our booking system at the time a reservation is made will apply to that reservation, subject to the applicable booking terms.

Additional charges such as applicable taxes, cleaning fees, pet fees, optional services, security deposits, damage-related charges, or other booking-related costs may apply and will be identified during the reservation process or in the applicable reservation agreement.

Payment amounts, schedules, accepted payment methods, security deposits, and other payment requirements are governed by the terms presented and accepted at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation, modification, refund, and no-show conditions are determined by the cancellation policy and booking terms applicable to the specific reservation.

Guests are responsible for reviewing the cancellation terms presented before confirming a reservation. Requests to change dates, accommodations, guest counts, or other booking details are subject to availability and the terms applicable to the original reservation.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to use the accommodation and surrounding property responsibly and respectfully throughout their stay.

• The registered guest is responsible for the conduct of all members of the reservation party and invited visitors.
• Occupancy must remain within the limits established for the reserved accommodation.
• Guests must follow property-specific instructions and rules communicated before or during the stay.
• Guests must not intentionally damage, misuse, remove, or interfere with property, furnishings, equipment, or facilities.
• Activities that create unreasonable disturbance, nuisance, danger, or interference with other guests, neighbours, staff, or the property are not permitted.
• Guests are responsible for promptly reporting any maintenance, cleanliness, damage, malfunction, or safety concern during their stay so that Paradise Escape has a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the issue.

Use of the Property

Paradise Escape accommodations are provided for the purposes associated with the confirmed reservation. Guests must comply with applicable laws, safety instructions, occupancy restrictions, and property-specific rules.

Occupancy limits, pets, additional visitors, events, watercraft use, and other property-specific restrictions are governed by the applicable reservation and property rules.

Events, commercial activities, additional visitors, pets, watercraft use, or other activities may be subject to separate approval or property-specific conditions where applicable. Guests should not assume that an activity is permitted unless it is included in their reservation or has been approved.

Damage, Loss & Additional Charges

Guests may be responsible for damage, loss, excessive cleaning, missing items, unauthorized occupancy or use, rule violations, or other costs resulting from the actions of the registered guest, members of the booking party, or their visitors, subject to the applicable reservation agreement and applicable law.

Guests should report significant damage, malfunction, cleanliness concerns, or safety concerns as soon as reasonably possible during the stay so that the issue can be inspected and, where possible, addressed.

Marina & Rental Services

Marina facilities, boats, personal watercraft, equipment, and other rentals may have separate rental agreements, waivers, deposits, eligibility requirements, operating rules, and safety requirements.

Guests using marina or rental services are responsible for following all instructions provided for the applicable equipment or service and for complying with relevant laws and safety requirements.

A cottage reservation does not automatically include or guarantee availability of paid marina or rental services unless specifically stated as included.

Availability & Unexpected Events

Paradise Escape makes reasonable efforts to provide confirmed accommodations and services as reserved. However, circumstances beyond reasonable control may occasionally affect access, availability, utilities, amenities, facilities, transportation, or other aspects of a stay.

Where a significant issue affects a reservation, available options will be considered based on the circumstances, applicable booking terms, and applicable law.

Website Information

We aim to keep descriptions, photographs, availability, amenities, rates, and other information on this website accurate and current. Information may nevertheless change from time to time.

Photographs are provided to represent the accommodations and property, but minor changes to furnishings, décor, landscaping, equipment, amenities, or other details may occur.

Current reservation details, availability, and pricing presented through the booking system at the time of booking take precedence over general informational content elsewhere on the website.

Responsibility & Liability

Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care while using accommodations, grounds, docks, marina areas, equipment, water access, and other facilities.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paradise Escape is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a guest's failure to follow applicable laws, instructions, warnings, or property rules.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Privacy

Personal information submitted through this website, inquiries, and the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, operating practices, or legal requirements.

The current version will be published on this page together with its latest update date. Terms specifically accepted as part of an existing reservation remain subject to the conditions associated with that reservation.

Governing Law

These website Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada, without limiting any mandatory rights or protections available under applicable law.
