Our Story

Welcome to Paradise Escape

Paradise Escape Cottages & Marina began with a simple idea: to create the kind of place we wanted to escape to ourselves.

For years, our family was busy running businesses in Toronto and living the fast-paced lifestyle that comes with the city. Like many families, we eventually realized how important it was to occasionally step away from the routine, slow down and spend meaningful time together.

During our own travels, we discovered how much we enjoyed destinations where nature, comfortable accommodations and genuine hospitality came together. Those experiences inspired us to create something similar closer to home — a place where families, couples and groups could leave the noise of everyday life behind and enjoy the outdoors without giving up comfort.

That vision became Paradise Escape Cottages & Marina.

Today, Paradise Escape is a family-owned and operated waterfront resort offering seven cottages and accommodations, extensive waterfront access and a growing collection of recreational and wellness amenities.

We continue to improve the property with the same philosophy that inspired us from the beginning: create the kind of getaway we would genuinely want to experience ourselves.

Paradise Escape combines the privacy and character of individual cottages with the advantages of a larger waterfront resort.

Across the property, guests can enjoy more than 300 feet of waterfront, four docks, a beach area, outdoor spaces and convenient access to the water. There is plenty of room to spend the day boating, paddling, fishing, swimming, gathering outdoors or simply relaxing beside the shoreline.

Our seven cottages and accommodations range from smaller cottage getaways to the spacious Bear Lodge and Main House, giving couples, families and larger groups different options depending on the experience they are looking for.

Bear Lodge

Our largest handcrafted log accommodation features five bedrooms and space for up to 12 guests, with generous indoor gathering areas, a games area, private hot tub, sauna, fireplace and outdoor space.

A three-bedroom waterfront accommodation for up to 8 guests, offering comfortable gathering space and private wellness amenities.

Our individual two-bedroom cottages provide a more intimate option for families and smaller groups, with comfortable interiors, outdoor areas and convenient access to the waterfront.

For us, this isn’t simply a collection of rental cottages. It is a place we continue to develop, improve and care for with the goal of giving our guests a comfortable and memorable experience in one of Ontario’s beautiful cottage-country settings.

From the cottages and waterfront to the recreational amenities we continue to introduce, every improvement is part of our long-term vision for Paradise Escape.
